With the adoption of service-oriented architectures becoming more prevalent, developers utilizing the Oracle Application Development Framework (Oracle ADF) have been increasingly interested in how to perform integration between applications based on their framework and the SOA teams within their organizations. While a complete discussion of the topic is beyond the scope of this article, we can discuss the typical technical touchpoints between the framework and an SOA environment. These considerations are an integral part of defining an ADF-based application, as we will see in this article.
