The Kscope13 Early Bird Deadline is Fast Approaching! Are You Signed Up Yet?

I don’t know about you, but I’m definitely excited about this year’s conference. I just took another look at the Essbase sessions, and I’m going to have a difficult time deciding which sessions I’m going to choose. How does one pick between so many good sessions and presenters? Whether you are new to Essbase, or a seasoned veteran, there are sessions designed for you. ASO, BSO, Calc Manager, HFM, Financial Close Manager, Smart View. I know I’ll be wishing I could be in two places at once. And the speakers are top-notch—some of my favorites are Michael Nader, John Booth, Cameron Lackpour, Tim Tow, Eric Helmer, Anthony Scalese, etc. etc. I could go on and on, because this is just a great line up of presenters. I’ve attended many of their presentations, and I don’t think you can go wrong with any of these sessions.

If you aren’t excited about the sessions, I hope you are excited about the networking events. If you’ve been to Kscope before you know that this group knows how to network. The week is filled with incredible networking events, and I am sure this year’s conference committee has a lot of fun in store for us. After all, how can we be in New Orleans and not have fun!

Speaking of events. Don’t forget to sign up for the Saturday Community Service Day! This year we are partnering with HandsOn New Orleans to rehabilitate a school. This is a great cause, and think about how much work we can get done in a few hours on Saturday. This is not only a great opportunity to help out those less fortunate, but also a great networking opportunity. And I am challenging EPM users to get out there and be a part of this event. Every year we have around 75 users participate in this event, think what we could do if we doubled or tripled that number. It’s only a few hours of your Saturday – and you have all week to party in New Orleans. Let’s make a difference.
