ODTUG Leadership Program Applications Now Open

The ODTUG Leadership Program is a nine-month program that covers topics such as leadership styles, effective communication, mentoring, team building, goal setting, and accountability. The application deadline for the 2017 program is August 14, 2016, so don’t delay! This is a wonderful opportunity to enhance your non-technical skills, meet some amazing people, and give back to the ODTUG community that provides so much for us.

#GetInvolved

A community is a network of people with a common agenda, cause or interest, who collaborate by sharing ideas, information, and other dbfinger.pngresources.

Do you have a network of ODTUGers who live in your city but you only see them at Kscope? Have you thought about launching a Meetup so you can meet more often? Don’t know how to set up a Meetup but ready to #GetInvolved with ODTUG? We have you covered!

Contact angelina@odtug.com and she’ll help you get things off the ground.

Introducing the ODTUG Philadelphia Database Professionals Meetup!

This is the local Meetup group for the global ODTUG organization run by Helen Sanders. She’ll be organizing casual get-togethers, happy hours, and maybe even a training webinar or two throughout the year. It costs nothing to join Meetup, so go ahead and sign up!

The photo is from their first event, a Super Meetup with Technical.ly Philly.

Yet another fabulous ODTUG conference has rolled off the assembly line: five days of fantastic content, fun, and friendship! We had a great time at the Community Night Hopportunity, sponsored by Dell Software, sampling beers with crazy names such as Vallejo, Pony Pilsner, A Little Crazy, Hero Series, Bottom Up Wit, and Eugene Porter, and (re)connecting with friends old and new. If you attended Kscope16, remember to share your feedback on the post-conference evaluation to help to make Kscope17 even better!
