Our goal in the BI Community is to emulate that on a smaller scale for those specifically interested in Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing, Big Data, and Advanced Analytics. With the release of Oracle BI Cloud Service (BICS) and OBIEE 12c, the ability for users to include External Subject Areas (XSAs) with curated models has introduced many new terms to the lexicon of Business Intelligence and Data Visualization. This session will break down the technical processes going on behind the scenes when using Data Wrangling, Data Blending, and Data Mashups with External Subject Areas (XSAs) and the functional use of each.
