If you want to convert an existing Block Storage (BSO) database into Aggregate Storage (ASO), you may find out some of the data in this BSO database has not been loaded at leaf level for all dimensions. You must load data at leaf level in ASO, so you need to have this data. Finding this upper-level entry data in a fully aggregated cube is difficult. This data is aggregated in the dimensions and likely cannot be found manually by drilldown. It will require a technical approach.
This article will present you the method to find upper-level input data in a large BSO database and export it to be loaded at Level 0 in an ASO database. It will describe the steps required and the calculation logic applied to BSO.
