Becky Wagner Named to ODTUG Board of Directors

Becky Wagner.jpgThe ODTUG Board of Directors has voted to add Becky Wagner, BI architect for US-Analytics, as a board member. Wagner replaces outgoing board member Teal Sexton, who stepped down after a change in her career trajectory. ODTUG is an Oracle user group and global not-for-profit organization focused on education and support for more than 30,000 Oracle technologists worldwide.

Wagner joins ODTUG Board of Directors President Natalie Delemar, Vice President Tim German, Treasurer Gary Crisci, Secretary Karen Cannell, and Directors Danny Bryant, Roel Hartman, Eric Helmer, Neviana Zhgaba, and Jake Turrell. Wagner’s term ends December 31, 2020.

“The ODTUG Board is extremely fortunate to have Becky joining its ranks. It's hard to think of anyone more dedicated in trying to advance the needs of the Analytics community as well as ODTUG as a whole,” ODTUG Board President Natalie Delemar says.

“Becky brings with her a passion for the work and a unique ability to bring people together. Over the years Becky's had her hand in many ODTUG initiatives, and we have all benefited from her leadership skills and her willingness to step in when she's needed. I'm thrilled to welcome her to the board.”

Wagner has a strong history of volunteering with ODTUG. In June 2019 she was awarded the Volunteer Award for her commitment to serving the organization.

“I am thrilled to join the Board and to have the opportunity to work with such an amazing group of Oracle professionals,” Wagner says. “I plan to use my passion for Analytics to be an advocate for the user community from within the Board of Directors.”

With her knowledge and accolades, Wagner brings a unique perspective to the Board of Directors, and her presence will greatly benefit the organization. Wagner is an Oracle ACE and a frequent speaker at Oracle events and ODTUG Kscope. She first joined ODTUG in 2015 and attended her first ODTUG Kscope in 2016 as a graduate of the Leadership Program. Every year since then, Wagner has assisted with content selection for the conference. This year, she served as the Big Data and Data Warehousing Track lead.
