A Note from Your Community Lead Happy December and season’s greeting EPM community! By the time you are reading this, the ODTUG Kscope20 abstract deadline has come and gone. I hope everyone got them in on time. A few updates: We are working on sprucing up our community page on the ODTUG website, which is pretty exciting. Also, if you’ve signed up for the ODTUG Kscope20 Abstract Public Voting, please make sure you vote. Content is king at ODTUG Kscope, and your feedback means so much. Since it is a busy time, this quarter’s newsletter will be short, however, on behalf of ODTUG, our hearts are truly grateful. We are thankful for our great members and our wonderful volunteers. May your holidays and 2020 be filled with joy and delight! As always, thank you for being a part of our great community, and your continued support of ODTUG! Best,

A big thank you to Mike, who is retiring after more than 20 years with Textron (Cessna Aircraft Company). Working with EPM applications in one form or another throughout his career, Mike has been an incredibly knowledgeable presence in the community. As a board member for our ODTUG Hyperion SIG from 2012 to 2014, he has run and hosted the Wichita EPM/BI Meetup several times a year. We have been so lucky to have Mike in our community, and we appreciate the countless hours he has spent helping to make ODTUG what it is today. As for what he will do next, Mike has some plans. He may do some EPM contract/consulting work part-time, and he has a few rental properties. He and his wife have also talked about flipping houses. She already has a lot of “honey-do” projects lined up for him; he may be busier than ever!
