This blog posting comes from fellow ODTUG Board Member and SP Conference Chair Barbara Morris.
Take it away Barbara!
As Mike previously mentioned ODTUG is holding two Seriously Practical (SP) conferences this year. I am pleased to announce that not only is this going to be our first Seriously Practical (SP) conference of the year but it is also our first European SP conference ever and we are all very excited to have this opportunity. Our second conference will be held in the United States and is going to be very informative and will prove to be beneficial to all who are able to attend.
An added benefit for the SP conferences, attendees get two conferences for the price of one, APEXposed and OPP. APEXposed contains topics dealing with Oracles Application Express and OPP contains topics on PL/SQL. Attendees receive two days of in-depth training that can be used in everyday work as well the opportunity to have face-to-face time with the authors of the books where questions can be answered directly. There will be numerous opportunities where you can sit down and converse with the experts presenting at the conference and this in itself has proven to be an invaluable benefit for me.
I have been fortunate to be able to work as conference chair for both conferences this year and have had the great pleasure of working with the content chairs, Steven Feuerstein, Scott Spendolini, and Dimitri Gielis. They have put together a wonderful agenda for the attendees and we look forward to seeing everyone there.
The European conference will be hosted in Brussels, Belgium at the Sheraton Brussels Hotel October 27-28, 2010. To view the European agendas please access the links below.
The United States conference will be hosted in Dallas, Texas at the Hyatt Regency November 10-11, 2010. To view the US agendas please access the links below.
