Wow, I was just looking over the Kscope13 agenda and I’m really excited to see that, once again, I’ll have to choose from among too many good papers and speakers. I’m especially tickled because I was part of the process. For several years now I’ve had the good fortune to be part of the abstract reviews for ODTUG Kscope and some other conferences. Reviewing abstracts for conference presentations is a great way to see what is current and to become aware of emerging technologies, features, and great techniques.
Many of ODTUG’s most active members and speakers first got involved helping review conference abstracts. I’d like to recommend that you volunteer to be part of the conference committee’s abstract review team for Kscope14 (we'll be getting things started immediately after Kscope13). By volunteering you can help influence the topics and techniques to be highlighted by conference sessions; take it from me, it’s a gratifying experience. I hope to see you this year in New Orleans and that you are as excited as I am about Kscope13’s offerings.
One last note... Tuesday is wear your ORACLENERD schwag day at Kscope13! :)
