Kscope14 Is Shaping Up!

John King, ODTUG Board of Directors Member, ADF/Fusion Content Chair

The Kscope14 conference committee is in the final stages of assembling this year’s session content. It’s been a real honor to work with this year’s ADF/Fusion content team. We have five Oracle ACE Directors and four Oracle ACEs working hard to make Kscope14 something special. Based upon the quality of papers reviewed, the ADF/Fusion team is expecting Kscope14 in Seattle to be one of the best conferences ever.

Speaking of ADF/Fusion, Oracle will lead the way like they did in New Orleans with the Sunday ADF/Mobile symposium, where they’ll share new developments and best practices (nothing is as cool as getting information “from the source”). Once again, ADF/Fusion will have beginner and advanced paths. This year, ADF Mobile sessions will be popular, and we’ll have papers covering WebLogic Server, performance, and lots of “dos and don’ts” sessions as well. An exciting new development this year is a special two-hour deep dive session on Thursday morning to cap off the conference with a real technical blast (watch for specifics coming soon).

A special thanks is due to all who submitted papers (a record number) for Kscope14. The conference committee teams are really excited about the quality and breadth of presentations we’ll have. It’s really too bad; Seattle is one of the coolest conference venues ever and you won’t want to see it because of all the great content! Better plan a day or two on either side of the conference for sightseeing; you won’t want to miss a thing.
