Using Oracle SQL Developer to Work with GitHub

Git is a free and open source distributed version control system, and Oracle SQL Developer 4 provides an interface that allows developers to work with Git repositories. In this article, I'm going to show you how to use SQL Developer to have basic interaction with a GitHub (a web-based hosting service for software development projects that uses the Git version control system) repository. The article assumes the reader has some basic understanding about version control and Git concepts.
