Announcing Thursday's Deep-Dive Sessions

Following last year's new format, we will continue to offer two-hour deep-dive sessions on Thursday, June 25, the last day of the conference. The Kscope15 deep-dive lineup is hot off the presses, so take a look at it now to decide which session is best for you.

  • Application Express: This session will teach you the secret to understanding jQuery: treating your webpage like a database.
  • Planning: Join a discussion of all things Planning and take advantage of the opportunity to ask questions and discuss items directly with Oracle.
  • ADF & MAF: Web applications are usually open to a wide user base, so application security plays a very important role. Hear about application security concerns and techniques, and discuss and demonstrate how to set up ADF Security for ADF Web applications.
  • Database Development: The Oracle Database Service is now available in the Oracle Cloud. This session presents a list of features available today including the Database Schema Service, Virtual Images, and Oracle Database as a Service.
  • Business Intelligence: Participants will take an in-depth look at Oracle's new tools for working with Hadoop and big data, focusing on Oracle Data Integrator for Hadoop data loading and processing, Oracle Big Data Discovery for data analysis and visualization, and Oracle Big Data SQL for data access, reporting, and integration with Oracle Exadata data sets..
  • Essbase: In the past 18 months, Essbase has seen new features and enhancements that are nothing short of revolutionary. See a live demonstration of what’s new – all the way through version
  • Financial Close: Are you about to design your first Hyperion Financial Management application, add a new dimension, restructure your existing application, or perform a complete redesign? Learn about findings from 14 years of working with HFM applications.
  • EPM Foundations & Data Management: Join three diverse speakers as they cover the EPM cloud from multiple views: Franklin Branderhorst of Infratects, Rich Wilkie of Oracle Product Management, and Vinay Gupta of Oracle Development.
