One of the very first actions the 2019 board of directors took was to elect Jake Turrell as a director emeritus. Tim German, vice president, explains:

“During Jake Turrell’s tenure on the board of directors he has taken a leadership role in strategic ODTUG planning and initiatives, such as the Emerging Technology track at ODTUG Kscope. At a time of change in our community and industry, the board has decided that we want to continue to benefit from his involvement. The ODTUG bylaws provide a mechanism, used from time to time, for the board to ask a former director to serve in the position of "director emeritus." I’m pleased to announce that the board has made a unanimous decision to invite Jake to serve for the remainder of 2019 in the role of director emeritus, and Jake has accepted." Welcome back, Jake!

ODTUG Bids Farewell to Mike Riley
Thank you, Mike, for your commitment to the ODTUG Board of Directors and the ODTUG Kscope Conference Committee these past 12 years. You will be missed!
