    Presenting at ODTUG Kscope19
In this three-part series, we take a closer look at how to create an ODTUG Kscope session abstract, how abstracts are selected, and how presenters bring those abstracts to life during a session.

Part II: Selecting the Abstract by Jay Chapman,Sierra-Cedar, Inc.
For this installment, I interviewed Teal Sexton, ODTUG Kscope19 content chair for the EPM Reporting, BI Analytics, and Data Visualization track to get a deeper understanding of the abstract selection process. Download the full article.

EPM Meetup's Overview
Monterrey Mexico Meetup Recap by ACE Cropped.png Gary Adashek, GE Digital
The Meetup was hosted by the Camino Real hotel, and the pre-arrangements were done by Alberto Rodriguez. There was swag set up on a table as well as light appetizers for everyone to enjoy prior to the event. Then it started. I kicked off by introducing ODTUG and giving a brief introduction about myself, why I love ODTUG, and how fortunate I am to attend ODTUG Kscope year after year. We then had two technical sessions on Oracle Data Visualization and Dodeca. The event concluded with a opportunity for everyone to mingle, socialize, and network.

GET INVOLVED

Have you thought about starting a Meetup in your community but don’t know where to begin? ODTUG is here to help! If you would like to start a Meetup group in your city, ODTUG will provide support and reimburse you for the cost of an annual Meetup organizer fee. This is your opportunity to network with your fellow ODTUGers year-round and introduce other Oracle techies who live near you to ODTUG. We hope you take advantage of this opportunity to have ODTUG help you create a strong local network of peers.
