Today's session is Part 2 of a two part series. If you missed Part 1 you will find the recording on the Resources page of the ODTUG.com website.
Introduced in Oracle 18, Polymorphic Table Functions (PTFs) are the next step in the evolution of table functions. They provide detailed PL/SQL access to the inner workings of SQL query functionality (parse, open, fetch, and close) to create flexible data access and control. This session will be presented in two parts and begins at the surface of PTFs but quickly delves into the details to give attendees everything they need to create effective PTFs. |
