For the last 20 years, Essbase Calc Scripts have been the most powerful way to control calculations in Essbase BSO (and in a similar fashion, in Essbase ASO starting in 11.1.2). While still powerful, is there a better way? Is it possible that we should start using Hyperion Calc Manager not just for Planning and HFM but to also write our Essbase calculations? In this session, Oracle ACE Directors Glenn Schwartzberg and Tracy McMullen will face off to determine which solution is the best today. Two products will enter, but only one will leave.
