If you think that the session title is suggesting we go back to the days of tables and pie charts, think again. In this session, we will cover four categories of visualizations that fit the acronym STOP: S=Segmentation, T=Trends, O=Outliers, and P=Patterns. Using Oracle's Data Visualization Desktop software, we will demonstrate the best visualizations for each category, along with tips on how to create visualizations that drive effective business decisions. This session will also include advanced visualization plugins from the Oracle Analytics Store, which extend the DV Desktop environment in order to enhance the capabilities of the product. We’ll present a compelling data story, revealing the insights that can be developed when you "STOP" using visualizations.
