This presentation will dive into exactly what constitutes DRM (Master Data Management), and how it fits into maintaining an organization’s Master Data. The session will go through in (technical) detail different ways in which data can be imported into DRM and exported out of DRM to different systems (HFM, FDQM, and HPCM).

The presentation will also answer the mystery of shared members (nodes) and how it can be maintained in DRM to optimize implementation. The presentation will also look at a real scenario implementation of DRM from a large manufacturing firm and what challenges were faced during its implementation.

Lastly, the session will cover in brief how business rules could be applied to Master Data with the limited available function and how administrators can use the DRM database to extract information.
