Liberate ASO procedural calcs from admin ownership – make them runnable by end users from Smart View. We can do this, thanks to the Calc Manager CDF – MaxLScriptFunction – which allows us to run a MAXL script from a calculation script/business rule. There are many use cases for this which will be discussed in this webinar. Another popular use case allows a user to trigger a BSO calc and then subsequently refresh a partition to push the BSO calc results to an ASO reporting cube.
