Congratulations to Vikram Cherukuri of Birmingham, UK for being crowned the 2012 ODTUG APEX Plugin Developer of the Year! Peter Pusztai of Switzerland rounded out the competition with a second place win. The winners received a Jawbone Jambox, a one-year ODTUG membership, and a copy of the book, Expert Oracle Application Express Plugins. Way to go Vikram and Peter!
Last spring, ODTUG held its first ever worldwide APEX Plugin competition. Participants created their own APEX plugin and had it viewed by the entire international APEX community. A group of world-wide APEX experts, including the father of plugins Patrick Wolf, judged the plugins based on correctness, security, creativity, documentation, and overall concept.
