A word from Alecs on why WIT matters

There are many incredibly talented women in the Oracle Developer & Technology User Group technology world, and we need to hear from them more often! Women in tech can be agents of positive change by simply putting their stories in the spotlight. By engaging in candid conversations about their growth, lessons learned, and successes in their technology careers, they can pave the way for future generations of women in technology and give that much needed motivation boost to those who believe they are struggling to achieve more. Talent, dedication, and hard work yield better results when we are surrounded by a network of supportive individuals. Let’s become that network!

Oracle Developer & Technology User Group WIT Mentorship Program Announcement
We’re excited to introduce the WIT Mentorship Program, which will help foster connections between community members who are looking to boost their professional growth. This is a great chance to make a personal connection and learn the skills needed to take your career to the next level. The Oracle Developer & Technology User Group WIT team will be pairing interested participants and providing a framework for the initial conversation. After that, it’s up to the mentors and mentees to determine a schedule and mode of communication that works best for them. The program will run in six-month increments, with the first round spanning  July– December 31, 2020.
