Most Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) projects start simply: pick up a file, map it, and load it into Oracle Fusion. As the number of integrations grows, that point-to-point approach becomes fragile. Failed loads are hard to replay, data quality problems show up downstream, and reconciliation turns into manual work.

This session adapts the Medallion Architecture, a layered pattern from modern data engineering, to Oracle Integration. Raw inbound data lands unchanged in a Bronze layer, so it can always be traced and replayed. Validation, standardization, and enrichment happen in a Silver layer. Only clean, business-ready data reaches the Gold layer for delivery to Oracle Fusion and downstream systems.

Drawing on real-world delivery experience, the session covers how each layer maps to OIC Gen3 and OCI services, including Object Storage, Autonomous AI Database, and OIC's built-in capabilities. It also covers where to place error handling and reconciliation, and how to apply the pattern when no database is available. Attendees will leave with a reference architecture and practical design guidance for building integrations that are easier to troubleshoot, audit, and reuse.
